SAIA's Quarterly Event (10/19/2022):

Structural Evolution of Capital Markets: New Risks and New Opportunities

Dear SAIA Community,

We are excited to have hedge fund industry veterans Joe Scoby, Clint Carlson, and Aimee Hirata join us for a discussion about the structural evolution of capital markets and what it has meant for the hedge fund industry.

Joe has held many distinguished seats in the hedge fund and broader investment industry, including the Chief Risk Officer of UBS. Clint founded and runs the Texas based multi-strategy hedge fund stalwart Carlson Capital. Aimee is the global head of Product Strategy for BlackRock Alternative Advisors - BlackRock's hedge fund solutions team.

Specific topics may include a history of their experience in the broader investment industry, the impact of technology and increased competition in hedge fund strategies, what hedge fund strategies they are most excited about and what risks are most top-of-mind as we look into the future.
