SAIA Quarterly Event: 9/24/2026
Fireside Chat | Commodities and the Pressures Driving Markets

Dear SAIA Community,

We are pleased to invite you to our upcoming SAIA Quarterly Event, where we will host Josh Blanchfield, Co-Founder, CEO, and CIO of Avos Capital Management, as well as Ryan Petzold, Director, Hedge Fund Solutions at BlackRock. The discussion will be Fireside-style and will focus on the evolving economic landscape through the lens of the global commodities complex.

The conversation will explore the major structural forces shaping markets today, ranging from shifting global trade dynamics and supply chain realignment to energy market constraints, evolving policy frameworks, and persistent inflationary pressures driving volatility.

A key focus will be how these forces are expressing themselves through commodities, which increasingly sit at the center of global economic adjustment. As highlighted in Avos' work, commodity markets are often where imbalances between physical supply/demand and financial positioning are forced to resolve, creating both risk and opportunity.

We expect the discussion to cover where pressures are building beneath the surface of markets and what these dynamics imply for asset allocation and portfolio construction going forward.
