SAIA is proud to announce our partnership with Financial Beginnings Washington

Financial Beginnings Washington has served Washingtonians since 2014 providing financial education programming for all ages and grades. Over the past five years, the nonprofit has trained over 500 volunteers, delivering financial education to more than 35,000 youth and adults in partnership with 100 schools and over 50 community-based organizations across the state. Financial Beginnings provides engaging financial literacy and personal finance resources for teachers, students, and guest presenters, including guides for both educators and participants, as well as ready-made presentations, activities, in-class materials, and Spanish versions of most curricula.

Financial Beginnings Washington is driven to empower individuals to take control of their financial futures. To achieve this goal, the organization relies on an extensive volunteer network to provide on-the-ground support as well as the generosity of funding partners to offer no-cost programming to educators and participants. All volunteers are trained to effectively teach financial education modules that align with their backgrounds, experience, and knowledge. Curricula are developed to help increase equitable economic advancement and bolster communities that value financial education.

Financial Beginnings Washington is always seeking financial professionals to help in the classroom. The organization provides many volunteer opportunities throughout the year and offers online training sessions to those interested. Help make an impact in Washington communities by volunteering your time and sharing your financial expertise with individuals that are often underserved by the financial industry.
